Comlab has named Etienne Lecours, Eng, as its new Chief Engineer.
After graduating with a B. Sc in Electrical Engineering, Etienne joined the company in 2000 and worked on a vast array of projects. Starting with analog & digital telephony training systems through numerous RF designs, he developed an unmatched expertise in the field of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). It is thanks to Etienne’s tireless work that Davicom’s products are so resistant to electrostatic discharges, high RF fields and stray transients on power lines. Having worked very closely with recently-retired Marcel Pelletier (one of the technical gurus behind Comlab’s success over the years) Etienne gained valuable experience and technical insight into complex electronic and RF phenomena. As Chief Engineer, Etienne’s responsibilities will cover the company’s hardware R&D and EMC certifications. He will also be Comlab’s resident technical expert on the company’s new Generex line of Battery Monitoring Systems.
