Our Journey with The BDR.net

Recently, we had the honor of being guest presenters at one of their weekly lunch gatherings. About 80 industry professionals logged on to hear about Davicom’s newest offering: the lightweight powerhouse AXON and NEURO RTUs. Here’s why we’re proud of these devices:

  • Cost-Effective Power: Designed as an efficient solution for smaller sites, buildings, and transmitter management applications. The AXONs and NEURO can function independently as complete stand-alone RTUs thanks to their built-in alarm, automation, and control capabilities. This means that any one(!) of these devices can be fully independent. This makes them great, cost-effective choices for your translator sites requiring GPIO monitoring and control.
  • Versatility: By adding the AXON and NEURO product line to the Davicom Portfolio and ensuring seamless integration with the more powerful CORTEX Series, we believe the broadcasting community can find the perfect solution for nearly any site. Based on your needs and budget, Davicom can help you choose the best deployment strategy, providing complete and reliable site monitoring and control for better peace of mind.

During the presentation, many insightful questions arose. One focused on the Electromagnetic Immunity of our products. Our President, John Ahern shared that we have our own in-house EMC lab, where we rigorously test products in electrical fields exceeding 10V/m to ensure fail-safe functionality at broadcast sites. He also provided helpful tips such as when you may find that an AXON fits your needs better or when it might be prudent to order a NEURO instead.
