		<p>DTPI is a temperature probe interface that can handle up to 4 “one-wire” DS18B20 or DS18S20 temperature probes (sold separately). The probes can measure temperatures ranging from -55 to 125 Celsius while the interface is designed to operate between 0 and 70 Celsius.</p>
<p>Temperature probes are available in three cable lengths: 1m, 5m and 15m with pigtail connections. The DTPI has been tested with cable lengths of up to 30 meters. The DTPI also accepts a standard 1/8” stereo plug for probe cable connections. A 9V wall-wart is provided with the unit.</p>

		<p>When a temperature probe is connected to either the terminal block or the corresponding 1/8 stereo jack, the associated front LED display shows the temperature measured by the probe. The temperature can be displayed in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. Readings can also be retrieved remotely through simple SNMP GET commands sent to the onboard SNMP agent. The MIB file and a firmware upgrade tool are available for download.</p>

		<p class="big">The Davicom DVLD-1 lightning detector is designed to give advance warning of the presence and approach of potentially hazardous lightning activity in the vicinity of a transmission site. It uses a sophisticated statistical algorithm to analyze electromagnetic signals and to provide an estimation of the distance to a storm.</p>
<p class="big">It can also reject potential man-made noise and interference. When connected to a Davicom Remote Monitoring and Control Unit, it can be used to switch to an auxiliary power source (UPS), temporarily shut down critical equipment or disconnect a phone line or an IP link during a thunderstorm.</p>

		<p class="big">Davicom’s DVLC-1 Lightning Counter is the perfect complement to Davicom’s award winning Lightning Detector (DVLD-1). The DVLC-1 allows Davicom Remote Control units to safely detect and count the actual lightning strikes sustained by a transmission tower.</p>
<p class="big">It has been designed to be mounted on one of the tower legs and will tell the operator if the site has been hit. This functionality gives site operators better situational awareness as to the reasons why their site could have stopped transmitting.</p>
<p>The DVLC-1 consists of the tower-leg mounted module that is connected through a fiber-optic cable to an optical to electrical interface attached to the back of any Davicom Remote Control Unit.</p>

		<p>The TS4085-I is an indoor temperature sensor. It can monitor transmission site equipment temperature and can also be used for better HVAC performance and efficiency.</p>
<p>Measurement accuracy is ±1.8ºF (±1ºC) for temperatures between ‑40ºF and  185ºF (‑40ºC and  85ºC). The output voltage can be easily converted to either ºF or ºC using the following formulas:</p>
<p>T (ºF) = [(V0 &#8211; 1.25) x 180]   32<br />
T (ºC) = (V0 &#8211; 1.25) x 100</p>
<p>The sensor&#8217;s operating voltage range is 6 to 15 VDC. It features low self-heating, linear  18 mV/ºF ( 10 mV/ºC) scale factor, less than 100 µA drain current at 15 VDC, and low impedance output.</p>
<p>Use the following polynomial equation linearization coefficients in your Davicom for this temperature sensors:</p>
<p>For F degrees: A = 0, B = 180, C = -193<br />
For C degrees C: A = 0, B = 100, C = -125</p>

		<p>The PSA-1 photoelectric Smoke Alarm is recommended where low-voltage Class 2 wiring may be used. The device offers an 85 dB alarm horn as well as form C alarm contact with 8 second delay for controlling external functions.</p>
<p>Up to 12 units can be interconnected and configured so that all alarm relays activate on alarm or individually. An external push button provides for testing of the units alarm function as well as silencing. A visible LED indicator flashes once every 40 seconds in standby and rapidly in alarm when smoke is detected.</p>
<p>Screw terminals and a mounting bracket are provided for easy installation.</p>
<p>Dirt-Alert feature helps prevent false alarms by detecting dirt in smoke chamber. The chamber has been made removable for easy cleaning.</p>

		<p>The THS0080 indoor Temperature Sensor is a low-cost sensor which combines temperature and humidity measurements. It comes standard with 9 in (230mm) pigtail wiring for easy connection to the Davicom units.</p>
<p>Measurement accuracy: ±0.9ºF (±0.5ºC) for temperatures between 32ºF and 176ºF (0ºC and 80ºC) and ±3% for relative humidity within the range 0-100%RH. The sensor&#8217;s operating voltage range is 4.5 to 6 VDC. It features linear (10 mV/ºC, 30mV/%RH) scale factors.</p>
<p>The measured output voltages can be easily converted to either ºF, ºC or %RH using the following formulas:<br />
T (ºF) = [Vout X 180] + 32<br />
T (ºC) = Vout X 100<br />
RH(%) = Vout X 33.3</p>
<p>ABC coefficients for the Davicom DV line of Remote Monitoring Systems are:<br />
Degrees F: A=0 ; B=180 ; C=32<br />
Degrees C: A=0 ; B=100 ; C=0<br />
% RH: A=0; B = 33.33; C=0</p>

		<p>The WIS-1 is used to detect the presence of water by providing a relay signal to any monitoring unit. The WIS-1 operates on 12VDC and functions as a normally closed switch. The unit can detect a layer of water of 1.6mm (1/16in) in depth.</p>
<p>Theses units should be tested with water after installation and checked every year thereafter. The WIS-1 comes standard with a 6-foot jacketed lead.</p>
