Up to now, we’ve used a petrochemical-based foam and plastic system to package and protect our equipment during shipping. While this system did the job, it came with serious drawbacks:

• Heavy-gauge plastic containers were required to ship and store the chemicals.
• Hazardous chemicals had to be handled and disposed of responsibly.
• A large carbon footprint resulted from chemical production and global shipping.
• Excess packaging weight added to emissions and shipping costs.

This method simply no longer aligns with our long-term goals for environmental responsibility or with the expectations of our clients—who increasingly prioritize sustainability.

A Smarter, Greener Solution

After extensive research and testing, we’re transitioning to a packaging solution that aligns with your values and ours. Our new system combines renewable paper-based materials with lightweight air-filled plastic columns. This approach offers several key benefits:

• Lower carbon footprint for both us and you, our customer.
• Lighter shipments, reducing overall transportation emissions.
• No hazardous chemicals, eliminating the need for specialized handling or disposal.
• Robust protection, ensuring your equipment arrives safely and intact.

Looking Ahead

Our packaging supplier has received the final specifications for our custom-designed air column packaging. We’re expecting to receive the first shipment soon. In the meantime, we’re using a carefully selected mix of alternative packaging materials that meet the same protective and
environmental standards.
